The Brief: To create a sustainable suburban oasis to contribute to global cooling through individual effort.
The 10 x 5m space was divided into 4 spaces to reflect the concept of a livable, sustainable, achievable and waterwise garden sanctuary.
- Edible / kitchen garden with herbs & vegetables.
- Outdoor living space surrounded by advanced deciduous trees for passive heating and cooling with a background of advanced Australian trees and corten steel screen.
- Waterwise succulent and grass garden with sculpture.
- Native / Habitat garden with Australian plants, water bowl & corten screens.
